Awesome time tonight. It felt very good to be back on the mat again teaching class. Thanks to all the instructors for helping me get ready today. And of course thank you to the students and families too! We got even more exciting news when I got home and had a package waiting for me. Our Patches are In! And they look great! Special thanks to my graphic designer Michael Fiore for creating our logo. Things sure are looking good at CMB Karate!

The mirrors are in! It looks like a dojo now! Also the phone and internet are in, with an exciting surprise for parents.... FREE WiFi! The rest of the mats go in tomorrow. Very excited to try them out tomorrow!
-Master Brooks The day started off at the Mercer County Tournament at Rider University where I coached two awesome brown belts in their first tournament. I was asked to judge a ring and all the competitors were outstanding. The children did great and I am very proud of all of them. Then Sensei Suchocki dropped off a new piece of equipment. It's a speed-bag/heavy-bag combo. I took this picture of him relieving some stress on the bag after a long day. Special thanks go out to Sensei Suchocki for the new bag to beat up. Stay tuned, the mirrors are going in Tuesday after a short delay.
-Master Brooks It's another exciting day at CMB Karate! 3/4 of the mats are in, the whole place is really starting to come together. Special thanks go out to Instructor Schatzle for his help today getting the mats.
-Master Brooks It's a Beautiful Day! The First Day of Spring, and the smell of fresh carpet and paint. Check back for more info, once those mats and mirrors go in we should be all ready to start having classes. Can't Wait!

-Master Brooks Tonight I was inducted into the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the 'Master of the Year in Grappling." I was supported by my loving wife, Catherine, and Associate Instructor Robert Suchocki. Robert was also inducted into the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the "Combatative Martial Arts Master of the Year." It was a great honor and privilege to be Inducted and to be amongst so many great martial arts instructors. A great thank you goes out to all the families, students, friends, and colleagues that have supported me along the way.
