Great Demo Team Practice

Last Nights Demo Team Practice was great. We tried it with the music for the first time and it's really starting to come together.

Kids: Practice, Practice, Practice!
Our next meeting isn't until Friday April 12th, so please go over your forms/moves at home. After that we'll have just Friday April 26th and Friday May 10th (night before the demo)

Rank Promotions - YELLOW BELTS

This past Friday, 3/15/13 SEVEN children were promoted from white belt to yellow belt. This is a huge step for a young martial arts student. Our youngest new yellow belt is only 5-1/2yrs old. They have been practicing, and practicing, and are all eager to move on to their new forms and self-defense techniques. The first step is often the hardest step to take, well done.

Over the Past 3 weeks we have had a few adults test that I'd like to take the time to mention.
Jared F. - Green Belt
Jayen - Yellow Belt
Vijay - Yellow Belt
Abraham S. - Intermediate Yellow Belt
Matthew S. - Brown Belt

Kids, Matthew has been training hard twice a week for 8 months to move from purple senior to brown belt. Remember that the next time you feel you've been stuck at the same rank for too long. Congratulations Gentlemen, well done.

Tickets now on Sale!

Tickets for our Group Outing and Demo on May 11th are now on sale at the dojo. They are $8.

Our demo team is performing about an hr before the 7:05 First Pitch. There are fireworks after them game. Demo Team Students must purchase tickets, but all are encouraged to support our team and school. Come out and enjoy this night with us, and pray for good weather!

Tonight we will be open, but have an early closing.

Brown-Black Is cancelled tonight,
All ranks Green-Black invited to take 6pm class.
MMA as normal at 6:45

Closing at 7:30. Hopefully the affected students have already been contacted. Be safe, See you later.

Congratulations to Ava F. on becoming our newest student of the month. We have seen vast improvement since she started and the instructors and I both agree she has really come to grasp an understanding of the martial arts in the past month. Well done. Keep up the great work.
