A special Thank You to Instructor Schatzle for his help attaching the mats to the wall. They look great and should be an added safety feature for our kids!
-Master Brooks I have been meaning to put up the belts above the mirror for some time now, and finally got around to it. Very excited, it looks great.
In other news Michael Valentino tested for his yellow belt in karate and yellow belt in weaponry, doing so he received the first certificate handed out in Weaponry, Congratulations Michael. -Master Brooks Congratulations to Assistant Instructor Kevin Schatzle on his Brown Belt Test. As you can see in the picture we both had quite the workout sparring and grappling. His belt was certainly well earned and well deserved. Also check out the new mats in the background! Very exciting times at CMB Karate!
-Master Brooks Today Cathy and I went to the Ethel McKnight Elementary School for their Springfest. Special thanks to the Hemel Family for their help. Also thank you to all the friends new and old who came to visit us at our table. Check back tomorrow for pictures of our new mats all set up!
