Some of you may notice my belt is beginning to become warn and tattered.

At closer look you may see something underneath.

Beneath each Black Belt, is a White Belt.

This reminds the Black Belts where they came from.

This also reminds the White Belts of what they can someday achieve.

Summer camp is coming to an end here at CMB, that means school is right around the corner. Once again we have some school supplies for our students to use this school year. Be sure to grab a CMB Ruler, Pencil, and Bookmark, and grab some for your friends at school too.

Good Luck! Remember to get your homework done before karate. Remember I am here to help if you are having trouble with homework or studying. Remember to be kind to your teachers and fellow classmates.

Be sure to make your parents proud, and your Master proud!

I've compiled a list "Martial Arts" related events that are airing on TV as part of the Olympics. I'm hoping some parents watch some of these with their kids. Remember the summer olympics are only every 4 years, and your child may not be interested next time around.

We are closed this weekend, as Mrs. Cathy and Master Brooks get away for the weekend to celebrate their 5 year wedding anniversary.

Closed Memorial Day

In Observance of Memorial Day we will be closed Monday May 30th.

We will be walking in the Hightstown Memorial Day Parade Monday Morning at 9am. (8:25 arrival) The demo team will be participating, but anyone else interested in walking with us should contact Master Brooks before Monday. We'd Love to have you join!

Tshirt Time, Practice Schedule, Upcoming Dates

General Announcements:
T-Shirts may now be worn with proper Gi-pants and belt. This continues now through Halloween. Please wear gi tops for testings, however. Also be careful not to loose your gi tops, we deal with a lot of lost gi's every fall.
Moms continue to be able to train for free throughout May, Dads get ready for the same offer in June. Please see Master Brooks for details/times.
This Week:
Testing is this Friday May 20th at 6pm. (No Demo Practice)
If your child has 3 stripes and is ready to test, see Master Brooks to schedule.
Looking ahead:
"Parent's Night Out" coming in June, date TBA
Summer Camp August 22nd-26th 10am-3pm

Demo Team Announcements:
No Practice this Friday May 20th
There is practice 5:30-6:15pm on Fri May 27th. (parade practice)
We are walking in the Hightstown Memorial Day Parade Monday Morning May 30th.
No Practice Fri June 3rd
There is a FINAL practice Fri June 10th 5:30-630pm
Last performance(s) SATURDAY June 11th.
It looks like there is a open house here at Princeton Arms Strip mall, so we will meet at the DOJO where we will perform/practice ONCE in the parking lot at 1:00pm, then all head to Sun Bank Arena in Trenton for Philadelphia Soul for 2pm arrival 2:25 on field (3pm game)
That should be about it.
